Sensory features: Do Ut Des offers lots of ripe bright fruit, raspberries, cherries and blackberries to name a few, then there's exotic spices, cured meats and incense layered on top. Lovely focus and balance with silky tannins and mouth-watering acidity leave you begging for more.

Best served: with red meats or matured cheeses.

Technical notes:

Grape variety: 34% Merlot, 33% Sangiovese & 33% Cabernet Sauvignon Vineyards: The grapes were sourced from the Monteaperti vineyards with southern/eastern exposure – 270 metres above sea level. The grapes were hand-harvested.

Ageing: 18 months in barriques and 8 months in bottle before release.
