On the palate, power meets ripe, velvety tannins and a fresh, lively vein of acid - Sangiovese in purezza!

Soil: Galestro, loam, limestone and schist
Vinification:Grapes are picked by hand in small boxes. Alcoholic fermentation is spontaneous with natural yeasts 1 ton tubs and steel tanks. Extraction of colour and tannins is facilitated by hand-punching down, pumping over, and deléstage. Malolactic fermentation occurs in oak.
Ageing: 14 to 18 months, 2/3 in 5 hecto litres Tonneaux and 1/3 in Austrian and Slovenian 2 hecto litres oak barrels.
