Sousão

06. Vallado Souso

Made every year since 2003 by Francisco Olazabal, the sixth generation of the family to make wine at this historic estate. Sousão is one of the less well-known port grapes and this wine brings out its friendlier side, with typical freshness and grip softened by smoky palate and generous creamy oak.

Sensory features: A deep red almost opaque wine. Having rich scents of dark berries, balsamic oak notes, tobacco and spice. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, fleshy with good acidity, long fresh finish with black fruit notes.
