Pinot Bianco Colli Orientali DOC Price € 16.80
Sensory features: Aromas of fragrant spring blossom, orchard fruit, hazelnut and bread crust lead the nose on this refined white. The elegantly structured palate offers creamy yellow apple, lemon drop and mineral alongside crisp acidity that leaves a tangy finish.
Grape variety: 100% Pinot Bianco. Grown on Marly and eocenic at an altitude of 100 –175m above sea level in the Oleis di Manzano area.
Vinification: First, the grapes are de-stemmed, and then they are subject to soft squeezing. Alcohol fermentation occurs at controlled temperatures in steel vats. Partial malolactic fermentation follows. Successively, the wine is left in yeast-filled steel containers for approximately six months. Later, it is bottled and left to rest in glass for at least two more months.
Best served: This is a great wine for starters, risotto, savory soups or pasta and sliced raw fish. It matches well with oven-roasted pullets and stuffed pheasant.
Alcohol content: 13%
