Sensory Features: The wine is of a beautiful straw yellow colour. The nose is intense, blending scents of lime blossom and orange blossom. Generous and gourmet, the palate delights with its scents of tarte tatin, along with fruity and fresh citrus notes. The finish reveals powdery vanilla flavours.
Grape Varieties:89% Sémillon, 6% Sauvignon Blanc & 5% Muscadelle
Vineyard: The 40 hectares of the estate are located on a terroir subject to the influence of the morning mists generated by the two rivers, favouring the development of botrytis cinerea, the fungus that gives rise to noble rot. Château La Tour Blanche produces elegant Sauternes wines in the shady tranquillity of its cellars, bearing the colours of the appellation.
Vintage:The harvests, though disrupted by the rain, yielded a low quantity of very high-quality grapes but with low yields. The harvest was manual and took 3 sortings.
Winemaking: Ageing was carried out in new oak barrels.
