From five autochtonous (native) grapes - hence the name. The vintage is undeclared on the label. The only numeric indication to appear is a progressive number that is the number of years this wine has been produced.
Sensory features: The wines has a beautiful garnet colour. On the nose complex aromas of ripe cherries, plums and black berries come forward with a hint of tobacco and toast. In the mouth the wine is full bodied with nice tannine yet soft and full of fruits with a hint of spicy vanilla and chocolate followed by a long lasting finish.
Technical Notes: : 33% Montepulciano, 30% Primitivo, 25%, Sangiovese, plus some Negroamaro and Malvasia Nera. Grapes are sourced from the Colonnella, Ortona, Sava and San Marzano district.
Aging: 13 months in barriques
Ready to drink at its release or aged for 8/10 years.
Serving temperature: about 18-20° C.
Best served: Beef, game and aged cheeses. Meditation wine.
