The Grola di Allegrini is proof of how hybridization and experimentation, in the noblest sense of the word, can bring extraordinary results. It is born from the cru on the Grola hill, from the encounter between the native vines of Valpolicella Corvina, Corvinone and Oseleta, protagonists of Amarone, and Syrah. The native grapes give explosions and freshness of fruit and acidity, while Syrah brings warm spice and velvety tannin. More than 16 months in barrque complete the path of a wine of excellent elegance, good immediately but able to challenge time.
Sensory features: Thick and dark ruby red, the nose vibrates with rich and fruity notes of dried blackberries and strawberry trees, enhanced by spicy tones of vanilla, black pepper and licorice. Made from Corvina Veronese, and Oseleta grapes grown in La Grola, one of the most prestigious vineyards in the Valpolicella Classico area in terms both of history and position.
