From a 3 hectare single vineyard parcel planted in the zone of Costeggiola, in1970, for which this cuvée is named, Le Bine de Costiola. Several passes through each vineyard insure that only grapes with optimum ripeness go into the press.
Tamellini’s single vineyard Soave, ‘Le Bine’ from the zone of Costeggiola.
Sensory features: This Soave has a pale, straw coloured hue with a pronounced floral nose with aromas of stone fruits and citrus. On the palate, it presents a fine, somewhat mineral texture with notes of almonds finishing with bright, crisp acidity. Although this wine shows a similar aromatic profile to that of the regular bottling, it is much more persistent and full-bodied. This is a serious wine that ages well and gains complexity over time.
Grape variety: 100% Garganega
Soil: Volcanic
Vineyard exposure: South
Vinification: Stainless Steel vat aged
Best served with pasta and rice dishes with black truffle, mushroom and onion soup, grilled fish, escargot with herbs, vegetable flan.
