Grape variety: 100% Moscatel Galego
The Quinta do Vallado Prima differs from typical Muscat due to its dryness. The grapes originate from three different parcels on the Quinta do Vallado estate. One parcel’s vines are over 50 years in age and the remaining two years are about 15 years in age.
Vinification: The wine is fermented though a process of “Bica Aberta” (without skin contact). The fermentation lasted for one month at a temperature between 57-60°F.
